Niahl Security LLC (dba Niahl Security, Niahl Locksmithing, Niahl Security Consulting) is a mobile locksmithing and physical security business based in Licking County, Ohio. We serve customers at their homes, businesses, and vehicles. Because we work in person, most of the information we hold about you comes from you directly - through this website or during a job.

2. Information We Collect

• Contact form: when you use our contact form we receive your name, email, phone number, company (optional), and your message.
• Orders and product sales: when you purchase hardware we collect the information needed to fulfill the order: contact details, delivery/drop-off address, and order history.
• Appointments: when you book a service appointment we collect your name, contact details, service address, and the service details you provide.
• Job records: for automotive work, this may include your driver's license number and vehicle details (make/model, VIN, plate) as required for authorization. For building work, it may include the locks installed and keys made at your property.
• Technical data: like most websites, our hosting platform (Odoo) processes standard technical data (IP address, browser type) to serve pages and keep the site secure.

3. How We Use It

• Responding to your inquiries and providing requested services
• Scheduling appointments and sending reminders or updates
• Fulfilling orders and delivering hardware
• Invoicing, receipts, and record-keeping
• Maintaining a history of our work at your property or vehicle, so future service is faster and safer

4. Payments

We accept cash and card payment on site. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

5. Security-Sensitive Information

Locksmith work necessarily involves security details: locks installed, keys cut, access systems serviced, and vehicle authorization data. We treat this as confidential. It is stored in our business records, used only to service your account, and never published, sold, or shared with third parties except as required by law.

6. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate (e.g., our website host, payment processor) or when required by law enforcement or legal process.

7. Retention

We keep business records for as long as needed for service history, warranty, tax, and legal purposes, and we delete or anonymize information on request when it is no longer required for those purposes.

8. Your Choices

You can request a copy of your records, corrections, or deletion at any time by emailing info@niahlsecurity.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If we change this policy, we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date.
