1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the services and products provided by Niahl Security LLC (dba Niahl Security, Niahl Locksmithing, Niahl Security Consulting), a mobile locksmithing and physical security business serving homes and businesses. By requesting service, accepting a quote, booking an appointment, or purchasing products, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

Niahl Security provides mobile on-site services, including: emergency lockouts (residential, commercial, automotive), lock installation and repair, rekeying, key duplication, smart lock installation, master key systems, SFIC services, access control installation, and physical security assessments and consulting. We also sell security hardware directly and through our online store. We do not operate a storefront; all service is performed at your location.

3. Appointments, Access & Scheduling

Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or by email. You agree to provide safe, legal access to the property or vehicle and to be present (or represented by an authorized adult) for the duration of the service. We may reschedule appointments when conditions are unsafe or otherwise outside our reasonable control. Appointments missed or cancelled with less than 2 hours notice may be subject to a service call fee.

4. Quotes & Payment

Written or verbal estimates are valid for 30 days and may change if the actual conditions differ from those described. Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are agreed in advance. We accept cash and card payment on site. Special-order parts may require a deposit. Deposits are credited toward the final invoice; special-order deposits are non-refundable once the order is placed with our supplier.

5. Residential & Commercial Services

Locksmithing labor on homes and buildings is not a taxable service in Ohio and is not subject to sales tax; parts and hardware sold as part of a job are invoiced as itemized products.

6. Automotive Services - Authorization & Liability

Automotive entry, key, and programming services are performed only for the vehicle owner or their authorized agent. You affirm you are the owner or authorized agent of the vehicle and will provide government-issued identification and proof of ownership (registration, title, insurance, or bill of sale) upon request. We may refuse service if ownership or authorization cannot be established.

By requesting automotive service, you acknowledge that Niahl Security is not responsible for damage to the vehicle arising from pre-existing conditions, vehicle design, manufacturer defects, or prior repairs, and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including towing, rental, or lost time). Liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed. Entry, key, and programming services are professional attempts and do not guarantee results.

7. Products & Returns

Security hardware and keys are sold as-is with any applicable manufacturer warranty, which is handled under the manufacturer's terms. Keys cut or programmed to your vehicle or lock, electronic items, and special-order parts are non-returnable. Unopened stock hardware may be returned within 15 days of purchase with a receipt for store credit or refund, at our discretion.

8. Workmanship Warranty

We warrant our labor workmanship for 30 days from the date of service: if a defect in our workmanship causes the serviced lock or system to fail, we will return to correct it at no labor charge. This warranty excludes parts (covered by the manufacturer), damage from misuse, attempted DIY repair, third-party work, vandalism, and normal wear.

9. Security Assessments & Consulting

Physical security assessments and consultations are professional opinions based on conditions observed at the time of the visit. They do not guarantee the prevention of any incident, and findings apply to the conditions and hardware present on the assessment date.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Niahl Security LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product at issue.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
